The United Benefice of Stratfield Mortimer, Mortimer West End and Padworth is situated about ten miles South of Reading. Its aim is to further the mission of the Church in this area to the glory of God. There are four churches in the Benefice and two Church schools, St. Mary's (VA) Juniors and St. John's (Controlled) both in Mortimer. A daily Eucharist is offered at varying times and places and the Blessed Sacrament is reserved in all our churches (except St. Mary's).

St. Saviour's is a small and beautifully kept country church. It has a weekly Sunday service (alternating 9 am Eucharist and 6.30pm Evensong with Padworth)
